Rapid release tablets are preferred by most physicians because of their ability to attain peak plasma concentration rapidly, by immediately disintegrating in gastric fluid. Pain and inflammation are one of the most common conditions where rapid action of drug is required. Aceclofenac is used for various pain and inflammatory conditions, with fewer side effects than diclofenac. Aceclofenac is completely absorbed after oral administration. There are no immediate release tablets of aceclofenac in market.
