Cambodia is a low income country located in Southeast Asia. It belongs to one of the poorest countries in the world. In spite of this fact and its rough political history, it is a fast developing country which might entail a potential for foreign trade development. In this academic work, the overall social-economic and other relevant environment of Cambodia is analyzed. Recommendations on most potential industries or commodities and further convenient trade cooperation and development of business transactions between the Czech Republic and Cambodia are identified.
