Development is a key that opens the door to progress. Development theories are the conceptual channels for development. This book deals with the concepts of development theories leading to community, rural and gender development and provides practical knowledge in them. In most of the developing countries of the world, especially in Africa and Asia, more than half of the people are farmers and more than 70% of them are poor.
