Oral administration has been most versatile convenient and commonly employed route of drug delivery. Sustained release drug delivery system have started gaining popularity and acceptance as new drug delivery system due to better control over release for extended time. Conventionally there are two types of granulation methods i.e. wet and dry granulation. But these methods have number of disadvantages such as number of steps, equipments, labors, wastage of materials hence costly.
